School Delays and Cancellations
The Northampton School Department uses BlackBoard Connect-ED, an alert notification system, to inform parents and staff when school is delayed or cancelled. The calls go out early enough in the morning to accomodate the early high school bus routes and start time. The BlackBoard Connect-Ed service allows us to reach the community within minutes for time sensitive events or information.
1 hr delay: Buses pick children up 1 hr after regularly scheduled time.
2 hr delay: Buses pick children up 2 hrs after regularly scheduled time.

Calendar/Snow Day Updates 2011-2012
We have had three emergency cancellations during the 2011-2012 school year. This has adjusted the calendar to include Friday June 15th, 18th and 19th as a full days of school with the last day of school on June 20th as a half day. Please click here for an updated calendar.
