Aside from our After-School Programs, JFK offers a number of additional opportunities.

Below are a list of these opportunities and the appropriate adult to get in touch with for more information. For those groups that have web links simply click on the highlighted word.

Students of Color Alliance - A group run under the direction of Ms. Mack, Ms. Dimino, and Mr. Pacheco usually meets on the 3rd Wed of every month

Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) - A new opportunity at JFK.  Under the direction of Ms. Skelley and Mr. Gallant this group meets on Wednesdays at 2:30 in Room 215.

Theatre Workshop - Do you like to act? Do you like to ham it up during an improv game? If so, check out JFK's theatre workshop!  Under the direction of Ms. Ajjan and Mr. Urbank, students meet weekly after school in the community room to develop their improv and acting skills-enjoy lots of laughs and fun! In the spring, the group stages a full length play/musical for the community.  The theatre workshop meets every Tuesday after school.

Student Newspaper (THE PAW PRINT) - Are you interested in being a journalist?  An editor perhaps? Then the Pawprint, JFK Middle School's own student newspaper may be the right place for you to learn and explore your future career.  The Paw Print meets every other Monday in Rm. 201 and its content is limited only by the creativity of our reporters. (Ms. Mack/Ms. Schofield)

Yearbook - Be a part of capturing and creating your middle school memories.

Before School Fitness - The JFK Physical Education teachers come in early and offer our students an opportunity for a morning workout.  This is a chance to use the fitness room, play some basketball or enjoy any other available fitness option. The entry point for the program is the doors nearest the cafeteria and music rooms.  The doors will be open twice, once at 7:15 and once again at 7:30.
